On Saturday, the candidates lodged a protest at Jantar Mantar on the demand of the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) for appointment in the GD recruitment of the year 2018. Protesters from different parts of the country had arrived for the demonstration.

The protesting candidates alleged that out of 60210 posts in SSC GD 2018 recruitment, about 45 candidates have not taken appointment. Medical fit youth should be appointed in their place with immediate effect. Due to the long process of three years, 75 percent of the youth have become older. After all, who is responsible for that? The candidates raised slogans demanding the appointment and warned of a big agitation in future.

 

UPSC aspirants also performed Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) candidates of the year 2020 and 2021 demonstrated at Jantar Mantar demanding additional opportunities due to Kovid in the examination. The protesting candidates said that due to Corona, the examination of many candidates has been affected. Some candidates had the last chance to give the exam. But could not take the exam due to Corona. In such a situation, keeping in mind the future of those candidates, additional opportunities should be given.
